Flame retardant additive "DRAGONITE series"

The formation of char has the effect of reducing deformation and other issues when the resin burns!

The "DRAGONITE series" is a white powder primarily composed of high-purity halloysite. The particles are tubular in shape, with the exterior of the tube made of siloxane and the interior consisting of aluminohol. This structure provides a high density of active acidic sites on the surface. 【Features】 ■ The high density of active acidic sites generates char on the combustion surface when the surrounding temperature becomes high, along with the carbon in the resin. ■ The generation of char suppresses the supply of oxygen to the interior of the resin, exhibiting flame retardant effects. ■ By combining with magnesium hydroxide and aluminum hydroxide, which have different functions, the flame retardant effect is enhanced. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Layered silicate "CLOISITE-20 A"

"CLOISITE-20 A" is a layered silicate suitable as a flame retardant additive for halogen-free flame-retardant thermoplastics, as well as for improving the physical properties and gas barrier characteristics of thermoplastic compounds. The gas barrier properties against oxygen, water vapor, and hydrocarbon molecules can be enhanced by using this product.
